I'll never forget the first time I took my first born out of the house on my own. I wasn't worried about a crying spell in the middle of Target, or a diaper blowout while we were en route... Nope, I was worried about carrying that cumbersome infant carrier/carseat.

My daughter was only a little over 6 pounds at birth, but I felt like I was carrying a T-Rex in a tire swing. It was awkward. It was annoying. And my arm hurt.
